PARENTS & FAMILIES
Helping Someone You Care About Make an Informed Decision
Choosing a healthcare training program can raise questions about fit, time, admissions, financial aid, schedules, student support, and career preparation. CCI can explain the process clearly so your family can ask useful questions without pressure.

WHAT CCI IS
Healthcare-focused career education in Southern California.
Career Care Institute provides healthcare career training through campuses in Lancaster, Moreno Valley, and Oxnard. Program availability differs by location.
A campus conversation can help your family compare the program, schedule, training environment, and requirements that apply to the student’s goals.

CHOOSING A PROGRAM
Compare the path—not just the program name.
Talk through the student’s interests, daily schedule, learning preferences, training requirements, and longer-term career goals.
Individual program pages explain where training is offered and provide links to current requirements and disclosures.
ADMISSIONS & FINANCIAL AID
Understand the process and the financial picture.
Admissions can explain the application and enrollment process at a high level. The Financial Aid team can discuss FAFSA and funding resources that may apply.
Financial Aid is available to those who qualify. A conversation is not an award or a promise of eligibility.

TIME & COMMITMENT
Ask what a typical week really requires.
Healthcare training can include classroom instruction, labs, clinical learning, or externships depending on the program. Schedules and outside preparation matter.
Review the current program materials and ask how attendance, skills practice, and off-campus training may fit alongside other responsibilities.
SUPPORT & CAREER PREPARATION
Know where students can ask for help.
Student Support explains academic guidance and how Student Services helps route questions. Career Services helps students and graduates prepare for the employment process.
Career Services provides job-placement assistance; employment is not guaranteed.
